Caroline Craig is an Australian actress, based between Melbourne and Sydney. She is best known for her work on TV on Underbelly, Blue Heelers and Anzac Girls. She also works in film and theatre, recently appearing in the Strindberg play Creditors. 

Caroline Craig grew up in Melbourne, Australia with a dream to perform on every stage in town. Her parents told her they were too busy and to 'take the tram'. She did and landed a leading role in SEVEN LITTLE AUSTRALIANS the musical at the age of eleven. Caroline continued to write, direct and perform many successful and chaotic productions while an undergrad at The University of Melbourne.

Caroline graduated from NIDA in 1999 and has since worked solidly in theatre and television.

It was her role as Tess Gallagher in the popular television series BLUE HEELERS which made her a household name in Australia.

Caroline is also known as the hard hitting policewoman Jacqui James in the award winning television series UNDERBELLY. As well as acting, Caroline narrated the entire series and has since moved on to narrate series 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, UNDERBELLY - A TALE OF TWO CITIES, UNDERBELLY III - THE GOLDEN MILE, UNDERBELLY: RAZOR, UNDERBELLY: BADNESS and UNDERBELLY: SQUIZZY.

Caroline Craig played Matron Grace Wilson, a lead role in the World War One drama series ANZAC GIRLS for ABC television.

Her other television credits include DANGEROUS REMEDY and the mini-series BASTARD BOYS both for ABC, RESCUE SPECIAL OPS, the New Zealand television series ORANGE ROUGHIES and the film THE HEARTBREAK TOUR for SBS Independent.

Caroline Craig's theatre credits include YES PRIME MINISTER at the Sydney Opera House, LOOT for Sydney Theatre Company, SPEAKING IN TONGUES for Griffin Theatre Company, THE SWEETEST THING for Belvoir St Downstairs, BETWEEN US for Ensemble Theatre Company, PIG IRON PEOPLE and BED for Sydney Theatre Company, LOVE SONG and HITCHCOCK BLONDE for Melbourne Theatre Company, BABES IN THE WOOD and FALLING PETALS for Playbox, OPTIMISM for Malthouse Theatre/Sydney Theatre Company and TWELFTH NIGHT for Bell Shakespeare.

Caroline also enjoys theatre directing. She directed THE COMING WORLD at Darlinghurst Theatre and S27 for Griffin Independent at The Stables.

She recently moved back to Australia from New York; during the 4 years she lived in the USA, she wrote and produced a short film, worked on a number of other theatre projects and recorded voiceovers.

In 2018 she performed in the Strindberg's play "Creditors" directed by Duncan Graham for the State Theatre Company of South Australia.

In 2019 she has just finished performing in the horror film "Bloody Hell".
